Did you work at Holland’s, Chewits factory on Virginia Street? Or any of the other sweet factories in Southport? Do you remember the smells and sounds of walking past the factories? Were Chewits your favourite pocket money treat?

The Atkinson is putting together a pop up display for the summer holidays to highlight Southport’s sweet making past.

The display is part of our plans to celebrate Roald Dahl and the Summer Reading challenge and our chance to champion our very own ‘Chocolate Factory’!

The family friendly display will be part of our Summer Holiday activities in the Discovery Box.
