A Beautiful Death
Share:

The Ancient Egyptions had an elaborate set of funerary practices that they believed were necessary to ensure their immortality after death (the afterlife). These rituals and protocols included mummifying the body, casting of magic spells, and burial with specific grave goods that were thought to be needed in the next world. This series of lectures looks at how the ancient Egyptians interpreted death through tomb scenes.
