Barry Dodds is a circuit favourite and lovable Geordie who’s cheeky grin hides no end of uproarious and unpredictable stories and gags. He charms audiences nationwide, with his uniquely tailored combination of disarming wit and wry, down-to-earth observational humour. As adorable as he is funny, this brilliant comic will captivate you and make you laugh in equally dollops.

He first took to the comedy stage at the tender age of 21 he soon had audiences eating out of the palm of his hand. Using his own contrasting combination of irrepressibly cheeky and gently mischievous material, he quickly found himself taking the national circuit by storm.

A finalist in various high profile competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search, his twinkly eyed, playful demeanour disarms judging panels, industry experts and audiences alike, allowing him flirt coquettishly with topics that are traditionally a little more unusual. In summary, a funny, funny man!

Tales, impressions, sound effects, TV show pitches… these are the things that makes Tom Ward’s act uniquely funny.

His interaction with audiences is a true stand out mark of his talents. He’s sharp and quick to observe the room around him. Ward seems to have the ability to pull genuine laughter from thin air in a matter of seconds based on the oddest of subjects seemingly without even thinking about it.

He has perfected his art and the proof is in the response that he gets at each gig. A finalist at the BBC Radio New Comedy Award 2014, the zippy and zany Ward is a barrel of laughs from start to finish.
