All line ups are subject to change, but don’t worry, we’ll only replace them with someone twice as funny. (Stephen Bailey has been replaced with Simon Wozniak)

Simon Wozniak

Simon Wozniak is the most successful comedian form Southport since Lee Mack. He’s has had a meteoric rise through the bowels of the comedy industry making it now to headline all the major comedy clubs all over the UK with his charming yet hard hitting style. He’s still typically modest and says about himself “Not much to say really. I have two pairs of jeans for all purposes, work and recreation, mix and match. I’m a part-time contact lens wearer, full-time glasses wearer. I’ve got no thigh gap and I still drink Capri-Suns at the age of 26.”

Winner – Nottingham Comedy Festival Act of the Year
“Funny guy, natural talent” Geoff Norcott, Live at the Apollo, BBC Two
“Very funny” – Justin Moorhouse, Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights
“Its been a pleasure to watch Simons growth from tenentive newcomer to one of the best acts in the country and Im now delighted to be relegated to Southport’s third most successful comedian!” Damion Larkin

George Rigden

Having excelled in a host of new act competitions in his first year, George Rigden made his Edinburgh debut in 2015 when he performed as part of the prestigious AAA Stand Up Late showcase at the Pleasance Courtyard for a full sell-out run. He returned to Edinburgh again in 2016, again as part of an established and respected showcase (The Lunchtime Special at The Tron) and splitting an hour with fellow up-and-comer Jake Lambert.

“Rigden is the result of a genetic mash-up between Mitch Benn and Tim Key, perhaps with a few strands of Ricky Gervais’s DNA thrown in…Very Funny Stuff.” Chortle

“Rigden’s musical comedy is deliciously dark…he is very good at working the crowd and of all tonight’s acts he probably made the biggest impression.” Beyond The Joke

“George Rigden had the audience in his hands thanks to some great comedic timing, a little help from his guitar and a hint of David Mitchell in Peep Show” Leicester Mercury
