Sofia is passionate about museums, art and culture and has recently delivered creative children’s sessions in Liverpool Library. Sofia says, “My favourite part of the Atkinson Collection is the Local History Museum. As a qualified art historian, I firmly believe that art is one of the most vital aspects of human culture. Equally important to me, however, is fostering a love for the place where you live and a deep appreciation for its history. I am profoundly moved by the care invested in creating this museum and by the heartfelt pride the people of Southport take in their town.”
Please expect to stand for this talk as due to limited space in our Museum this short Spotlight Talk will be delivered in an informal style to a standing audience. A few seats can be made available for those who need them. The talk will last about 20 minutes, simply pop in at 11am.
