Totally 80s Weekender

We’re pulling up our leg warmers and rewinding back to the 80s this September. Join us for a weekend of 80s inspired events and activities including arts and crafts, a screening of the family favourite The Goonies (PG) and appearances from 80’s legends Nik Kershaw and Hue and Cry!

Hue and Cry
Friday 15 September, 8pm

Brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane formed Hue and Cry in 1983 and the made a huge impact in the late 80s with the albums ‘Seduced and Abandoned’ and ‘Remote’ as well as the massive hit singles such as ‘Labour of Love’. Performing alongside some of the greatest artists in music history, appearing with U2, James Brown, Madonna, Al Green and Van Morrison to name but a few. Take a listen here.

80s Thermochromic T-Shirt Printing Workshop
Saturday 16 September, 11am – 3pm

Come and print, stamp or paint your own T- shirt that changes colour with heat! All Ages (children must be accompanied by an adult. Young children will be provided with paint instead of printing).

Vintage, Vinyl & Makers Fair
Saturday 16 September, 11am – 4pm
Free Admission

Expect the very best of vintage as a marvellous and eclectic mix of vintage clothing; accessories, jewellery and home ware will all be up for grabs.

The Goonies (PG)
Saturday 16 September, 2pm

A group of friends who call themselves “The Goonies” find a treasure map which leads to millions of dollars worth of gold which would be enough to save their homes from closure. However, what they don’t know is that a trio of Italian criminals are also trying to grab hold of the gold. Watch the trailer here.
