Sail Away on Arthur’s Dream Boat at The Atkinson

Arthur’s Dream Boat with music by Tom Gray, of the Mercury Award winning band Gomez comes to The Atkinson on Sunday 14 September, 11.30am & 2.30pm,kickstarting the new and very busy autumn programme for families.

This new show by Long Nose Puppets is based on the best-selling book by Polly Dunbar and tells the story of a little boy who has a dream.

One night, Arthur has an amazing dream about a beautiful pink and green boat with a stripy mast. He can’t wait to tell everyone about it but no one (not even his dog!) is interested. In fact, they don’t even notice that this very same boat is growing on his head, getting larger and larger by the minute! Soon, Arthur is bouncing along the waves in his very own dream boat. Maybe now his family will listen to him!

Tickets for Arthur’s Dream Boat are priced at £8 adults, £6 children , £24 family ticket and are available online at theatkinson.co.uk or by calling The Atkinson box office on 01704 533333. You can also purchase your tickets over the counter during The Atkinson’s opening hours.
