The Atkinson has almost three thousand works of art dating from the 17th to the 21st centuries.
The Atkinson holds collections relating to the history of Sefton Borough as well as the Goodison Egyptology Collection.
Most of the material currently on show in The Atkinson’s museum is from The Botanic Garden Museum.
