Boogie to a mythically themed silent disco at this year’s Southport Festival

Our Kids Social is back for the 2018 Southport Festival on Saturday 12 May.

After their sell out event as part of Kidsfest in February, they return with mythically themed arts and crafts, the legendary two-channel silent disco, bubble machine, props and inflatables, and the phenomenally mystical wheel of chance – you choose the music but the wheel decides the challenge!

Bring your nippers in their best fabled and fictious fancy-dress to match the 2018 festival theme of Myths and Legends. There will be prizes for the best costumes – and no reason why adults can’t get involved too!

We cannot wait for the dancefloor to fill with Gods and Godesses, Creatures and Beasts, Heroes and Heroines. Are you a moonwalking Medusa? Or a Cupid who can quickstep? Maybe a Lorelei who can limbo? Or even a mamboing Minotaur?

This May take the opportunity to bring your family to our den of folk-lore, our hideout of misbelief, and make sure you bring your dancing shoes. It will be Timberlake vs Stone Roses, Candi Statton vs Little Mix as you all throw your hands up, let your hair down and party together in our fantasy disco experience.

Everyone coming to this event needs to buy a ticket, babes in arms go free.

We recommend this event for children aged 4-10 although we welcome older and younger siblings.

Session 1: Arts & Crafts 10:30-11:30 / Silent Disco 11:30-12:15.

Session 2: Arts & Crafts 13:30-14:30 / Silent Disco 14:30-15:15

Tickets are £6 and available online at theatkinson.co.uk / Box Office 01704 533333 or over the counter during opening hours.

Limited capacity of 100 per session and there are no refunds or exchanges for this event.
