About Southport Film Guild
Established in 1966 by local people, Southport Film Guild is one of the most established film clubs in the country. The guild pride themselves on showing the very best in films, from popular blockbusters to lesser known, critically acclaimed art house and foreign language films from the last eighteen months. The films chosen are highly acclaimed, the best reviewed and those that our members have specifically requested.
Each season runs from September to August, with films screened on the first Wednesday of every month in The Atkinson’s traditional Theatre.
