Following official government advice regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), The Atkinson is now closed to the public until further notice. This includes the Theatre, Studio, Museum, Galleries, Shop, Library and A Great Little Place cafe.

The Theatre and Studio closed on Thursday 17 March with shows cancelled until the end of April 2020. The Box Office are in the process of issuing refunds to cancelled shows. If you have booked online or over the phone, tickets will be automatically refunded. If you have booked tickets at the Box Office via chip and pin, your refund can be processed over the phone. If you have paid in cash for your tickets, please visit the Box Office once The Atkinson re-opens for us to process your refund.
