British illustrator Frank Hampson, best known as the creator and artist of Dan Dare, studied art in Southport. Did you know we have a Dan Dare display on our museum and in 2020 will host an exhibition to celebrate the Eagle’s 70th anniversary?

ComicScene is a monthly magazine about comics and Issue 13 is a Eagle & Dan Dare special. Due to Coronavirus, ComicsFlix are unable to distribute the magazine in shops and are generously donating their distribution fees to some worthwhile causes.
