The Atkinson is pleased to be showcasing this year’s Sefton Open in a digital art exhibition. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the exhibition in The Atkinson’s art galleries is unable to take place.

Celebrate your creativity and join our online exhibition of Sefton artists!

The Sefton Open is a chance for visitors to discover the wealth of artistic talent in Sefton. The online exhibition is open to all artists who live, work or were educated in Sefton. All artistic practices are welcome including ceramics, sculpture, paintings, textiles, photography.

This is your chance to exhibit (online!) at The Atkinson – and its FREE – there is no entry fee for our online exhibition.

The exhibition is supported by the Southport Palette Club and other local art clubs/groups, each showcasing their skill and artistry.

The Sefton Open 2020 digital exhibition will be presented on The Atkinson’s website from 18 April – 6 June 2020.

Submissions

Artists are invited to submit one digital photograph of their artwork to the Sefton Open 2020 digital exhibition. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 15 April, 5pm. The exhibition will be showcased online from Saturday 18 April. Full details can be found in the entry information and submission document below.
