Southport was once famous for its shopping and department stores. Over the years it hosted the likes of Broadbents & Boothroyds, Marhsall & Snellgrove, Beales, Debenhams, Bobbys & Co., BHS and others. In this talk Jill Newsham will be taking a look back at some of these stores that are now sadly long gone.
