The Young Artist of the Year competition showcases the emerging artistic talent in Sefton.

The Atkinson, in partnership with The Arts Society Southport, invited Young Artists aged 11-18 living or going to school in the Sefton Borough to submit one photograph of an original artwork to the competition.

Entries have been received from both individual young artists and local schools across Sefton including Formby High School, Peterhouse School, Presfield High School & Specialist College, KGV College, St Mary’s College.

All entries will be exhibited on The Atkinson’s website from Saturday 22 May 2021 until 2022. The winners will be announced on Thursday 10 June 2021 and awarded prizes donated by The Arts Society Southport.
