We had a brilliant eventing at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards last night. Unfortunately we didn’t win in our category, Large Visitor Attraction of the Year, but it was an honour to be nominated alongside some brilliant organisations.
Large Visitor Attraction of the Year:
- Liverpool Cathedral – Winner
- Knowsley Safari – Highly Commended
- The Atkinson
- Tate Liverpool
- World Museum

It was a great evening celebrating the achievements of so many incredible organisations and individuals across the City Region. We were proud to be nominated for ‘Large Visitor Attraction of the Year’ alongside Liverpool Cathedral, Knowsley Safari Park, Tate Liverpool and World Museum. Across the awards it was fantastic to see a number nominations from Southport, as a town we have so much to offer, it’s rewarding to see Southport’s impact to the visitor economy recognised.
