Earlier this year, we were joined by Lola for her year 10 work experience placement.
We asked Lola to write a bit about her favourite item in The Atkinson’s collection. She selected the Egyptian Paddle Dolls from our museum…
“For something so small and innocuous, it’s surprising to learn that these paddle dolls are extremely, extremely rare. It feels good to know that objects thousands of years old are here in Southport and that many other museums wish they had them.”
