Ahoy, Maties! Young Artists Raise the Jolly Roger at The Atkinson!

Calling all buccaneers and scallywags! The Atkinson is abuzz with pirate spirit thanks to our fantastic young artists.

In anticipation of the swashbuckling adventure, Treasure Island, setting sail on our stage this Saturday 18 May, we challenged our littlest creatives to design their very own pirate flags!

The results are nothing short of awe-inspiring (and perhaps a little terrifying for unsuspecting landlubbers). These flags are bursting with personality and imagination!

These magnificent pirate flags are currently on display in our special Art Box, a haven dedicated to fostering children’s creativity and love for the arts. Step into the Art Box and be transported to a world of boundless imagination, where crayons become cannons and construction paper transforms into towering pirate ships.
