Andrea Ku of B4biodiversity is The Atkinson’s current resident beekeeper and knows a lot about bees!
We are working in partnership with Andrea thanks to funding received from Liverpool Community Environment Fund.
Andrea will be delivering a talk about different UK bee species and explaining which ones need our help. She will tell us about which plants are good for bees, how far they forage and the different honey made by them at different times of year from different areas. She hopes to bring in honey in from different landscapes like urban, rural and suburban.
