Led by Caroline Darbyshire of CD Music Academy, the choir sing a variety of songs from ‘Do You Love Me’ by The Contours to Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Someone You Loved’.

The choir provides opportunities to perform in community concerts. During the festive season The Atkinson Wellbeing Choir performs for residents in local care homes, in 2022 the choir are hoping to extend their appearances throughout the local community.

The Atkinson Wellbeing Choir was launched in 2019 with funding from The Atkinson Development Trust and Liverpool CVS. The choir is now stronger than ever and is self funded by its members and donations.

“It has given me a sense of belonging and a connection with like minded people. Also a sense of purpose.”
