A talk by Thompson Dagnall; a British sculptor.
In this talk, Thompson will be looking at the process he uses to carve with wood and will discuss some of the projects that he has worked on.
You will also have the opportunity to ask Thompson any questions.
About Thompson Dagnall
Born 15th February 1956 in the posh part of Kirkby.
Educated at Ruffwood School with a Foundation year at Liverpool art school. Gained a First class Honours degree in fine art sculpture from Brighton then an MA from Chelsea College. For the past 25 years has been a Sculptor in stone, wood, steel and cast iron with most of the work in the public domain.
The image is of Old Man in the Corner which was carved as a demonstration piece in the Wayfarers Arcade and is included in the ‘Language if Trees’ exhibition.
