The High Park Think Family, Think Community project (managed by Brighter Living Partnership) is paving the way for stronger, more connected neighbourhoods, and we’re here to showcase its incredible journey so far!

This event is a unique opportunity to delve into the heart of High Park’s vibrant community, where families and individuals are coming together to create lasting change. Learn from the experts, be inspired by success stories, and explore the innovative strategies that have revitalised the High Park area, thanks to the invaluable support of the National Lottery’s Reaching Communities Fund.

Here is a guide to what’s on at the High Park Conference 2023:

Arrival – 5:00pm – 5:30pm

Section 1 – Introduction to the evening, project development and the High Park Community – Located in the Theatre (5:30pm – 6:15pm)

  • Hear from project leaders and community champions who have driven transformation with the community
  • Gain insights into the power of community engagement and how it can reshape neighbourhoods
  • Discover how National Lottery funding can make a real impact in your community

Section 2 – Buffet & Breakout discussions – Located in Studio One (6:15pm – 7:00pm)

  • Participate in break-out discussions, sharing experiences and best practices with those who have been at the heart of the changes on a local level
  • Network with like-minded individuals, fostering connections and potential collaborations for the future
  • Access to a buffet and refreshments provided by A Great Little Place (vegetarian and vegan options included)

Section 3 – Next steps and Closing remarks – Located in the Theatre (7:00pm – 7:30pm)

  • An opportunity to discuss our learning and consider the next steps for our community
