Longshore Drift – Creative Walks On The Sefton Coastal Path
Share:

A series of 4 artist led walks and creative conversations.

Longshore Drift is a collaboration between Fevered Sleep and MDI and part of The Atkinson’s Sefton Coastal Path project 2014 and An Infinite Line: Merseyside

Walks start at 9am & 1pm.

Led by David Harradine, Artistic Director of Fevered Sleep. There are 15 places on each walk plus up to 8 additional places in the creative conversations. Groups will meet at 9am and 1pm for introductions and a walk lasting 1 hour 30 mins. During the walk the group will be offered a range of instructions, directions and suggestions enabling walkers to ‘collect’ their own individual set of observations, images, found objects and ideas.

Creative conversations:
The group will return to their meeting place at 10.30 / 2.30 to begin their ‘creative conversation’. At this point others who have not been able to access the walk itself will be invited to join the group and jointly reflect on and respond to what’s been gathered. Walks will meet and return to.

Meeting place: St Luke’s Church, Formby

Places are free – Booking Essential.
