The Atkinson, in partnership with The Arts Society Southport, invited Young Artists in school years 7-13 (High School, College, or equivalent) who live or go to school in the Sefton Borough to submit one piece of artwork to our competition.
Entries were encouraged from both individual young artists and local schools across Sefton.
All competition entries are exhibited online. The winners will be announced on 8 June and are invited to display their work in The Atkinson Foyer from 15 July 2023. Prizes donated by The Arts Society Southport will be awarded at a Prizegiving Event at The Atkinson on 15 July.
Prizes
The artworks are reviewed by a panel appointed by The Atkinson. All works are judged on individual merit and the judges’ decision is final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Winners receive arts vouchers.
Partners
The Arts Society Southport brings people together through a shared curiosity for the arts. Their events provide welcoming places to hear expert lecturers share their specialist knowledge about the arts.
