Grateful Fred’s has been pioneering Americana and Roots music in Formby for almost 4 years and during that time have presented some of the best US, Canadian and World artists building a large and loyal audience who have enjoyed great nights of wonderful live acoustic music.
The Grateful Fred – the established roots and acoustic night from Formby is set to call The Atkinson its new home from December.
Grateful Fred’s nights are informal, fun and as well as being hosted by the Grateful Fred’s House Band also include another UK or local act as well as the headliner.
We start the fun at 8pm with The Grateful Fred’s Band, followed but the support at 3.30pm. After a 20 minute interval we welcome the headlining act.

- Wednesday 8 January – Headliner Edwina Hayes
- Wednesday 5 February – Headliner The Stray Birds
