The Atkinson team up with LHK Productions to announce a new Christmas Pantomime opening December 2020

The Atkinson is excited to announce Cinderella as their first Christmas Pantomime in collaboration with LHK Productions. The production will be the first Christmas Panto at The Atkinson since the iconic building re-launched in 2013 and will run from 11 December 2020 – 2 January 2021.

LHK Productions are one of the most acclaimed theatre & pantomime production companies in the UK and guarantee a spellbinding experience with a professional cast, live orchestra, lavish sets and exquisite costumes. Cinders, her wicked Stepmother, a jealous stepsister or two, the Fairy Godmother, Buttons and Prince Charming will all make an appearance in this magical new production.

You can expect to see some famous faces in this traditional panto with a modern twist. The full cast announcement will be made in Summer 2020, alongside regular panto pro’s Claire Simmo (Greatest Hits Radio), Michael Chapman (Liverpool’s favourite Dame), Lewis Pryor (Britain’s Got Talent 2016) and Holli Jo Bradley (choreographer).

Cinderella is set to be a highlight in Southport’s 2020 festive programme as Sefton celebrates its Borough of Culture year. Tickets will go on general sale in December 2019 with Family Ticket offers, generous Group Booking discounts and special offers for Schools with teachers going free.

We began producing Panto here over ten years ago so it is amazing to be returning to the transformed Atkinson. We cannot wait to get started and look forward to introducing the full cast in the new year.”
