The Young Artist of the Year competition showcases the emerging artistic talent in Sefton.
The Atkinson, in partnership with The Arts Society Southport, invited Young Artists in school years 7-13 living or going to school in the Sefton Borough to submit one photograph of an original artwork to the competition.
Entries were received from both individual young artists and local schools across Sefton.
The winners and commended have now been announced and are invited to display their work in The Atkinson Foyer from 30 July.
Prizes donated by The Arts Society Southport will be awarded at a Prizegiving Event at The Atkinson on 30 July.
All competition entries are exhibited online.
