The climate is in crisis.
And that’s some heavy weather.
So how do we ground ourselves when it all seems hopeless?

GROUND is an artistic exploration of Climate Anxiety. But we’re not talking doom and gloom. We’re talking coffee, cake and creativity.

Theatre in the Rough are inviting ten young artists to join them on a journey of hope. To explore their climate concerns. And create new work in collaboration with the non-human world. This project will result in a new collaborative film installation to be shown at The Atkinson in Southport, alongside a publication of participants’ original work.

Timeline:
Climate Café 1: Sat 19 Nov, 1pm – 2:30pm, The Atkinson, Southport
Climate Café 2: Sat 26 Nov, 1pm – 2:30pm, The Atkinson, Southport
Development Period: December 2022 – February 2023
Film & Publication Launch: March 2023
