The Atkinson is a leading arts centre housing a museum, gallery, library, cafe, shop, theatre and studio. Its theatrical programme embraces a range of art-forms and welcomes performances from both professional companies and community groups.

We are seeking to recruit a Technical Manager to lead on the technical requirements for all productions and events delivered in our Theatre & Studio spaces.  This is a crucial role, not only in terms of back-of-house management but also in developing professional relationships and upholding the reputation of the venue.

You will have experience of working at a senior technical level within a theatre and multi-venue arts environment, including staff management.

Technical expertise should include the operation of theatrical electrical systems, lighting technology, electrical safety and sound engineering including operating modern sounds systems for theatre and live music.
