Sefton Council and partners are seeking to develop a cultural strategy for the Borough. By developing a shared vision for culture in Sefton we aim to celebrate and promote opportunities for cultural and creative participation across the Borough.

We are asking people about their cultural lives – both as participants in creative and cultural activity, and as audience members attending events.

The information we gather will help to inform the development of the strategy, and plan for the future. For example, this will help us plan for future events such as the Borough of Culture celebrations in 2025. It will also shape the longer term development of the Cultural offer in Sefton.

Definition: Culture and creativity are universal themes and may mean different things to different people. For the purposes of this project, the terms culture and creativity will include the arts – music, drama, film, dance, literature and art & crafts. It will also include heritage, such as the history of our buildings and natural spaces. Sport is included in its relationship to a sense of place, heritage and social identity, but not in terms of delivering sporting activity.

This is completely optional. The email address is only used to send the email to you via the online consultation system provided by Delib as the data processor. The email address will not be stored with the responses and Sefton Council will not have access to it.
