Everyone at The Atkinson and KD Theatre Productions is deeply saddened to hear the news of Dean Sullivan’s death.

Dean was due to star in this year’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk but had recently withdrawn from the show due to ill health.

The Atkinson’s Performing Arts Programme Manager Marie Kenny said: “It’s a very sad day and our thoughts go to Dean’s family and friends. We had worked closely with him over the last couple of months and he was wonderful to work with. He was really looking forward to being back on stage this Christmas and we were delighted to welcome him.

“When he came to The Atkinson to meet the cast and crew, he was so warm and friendly, and of course, he was the ultimate professional on stage. The thoughts of everyone at The Atkinson and KD Theatre Productions are with his loved ones.”
