This talk by Jane Brown, the gallery manager is ideally suited to artist educators and celebrates the current exhibition ‘Shojo Manga – World of Japanese Girls’ Comics. The Atkinson presents the first major exhibition in the UK of Japanese Shojo Manga, providing an insight in to this beautiful and moving world of stories and images. The exhibition profiles innovative manga artists Akiko Hatsu, Keiko Takemiya and Yukiko Kai whose work explores themes such as young love, science fiction and fantasy.
