Recent research has uncovered some outstanding works of art in The Atkinson’s permanent collection. This display features two 20th century masterpieces previously unknown or thought lost, including a major Futurist composition by CRW Nevinson and an Impressionist landscape by Jacques Emile Blanche. Recently restored drawings and prints are also brought to light including figure drawings by Augustus John and Keith Vaughan, and key examples of the British printmaking revival.
