Traders, Invaders & Raiders are bringing their traditional replica Viking Longboats. As well as displays including textiles, dyeing, querning and churning, coining and commerce .
The specialty services of their Viking department are formally known as the ‘Viking Long Ship Experience.’ The company owns two Viking Ships, A 5m Faering called Skidbladnir and a 10m Busa called Uruz. Both ships have featured in all types of media work from corporate publicity to Television documentaries and will be attending the launch of the Vikings:Rediscover the Legend exhibition at The Atkinson.

Wirhalh Skip Felagr the Wirral Ship Fellowship – Wirral Vikings are proud to be associated with the British Museum and The Atkinson as they bring the Viking age vividly to life at the forthcoming ‘Vikings – Rediscover the Legend’ family fun day.
The acclaimed groups living history displays are praised by academics for their accurate research and attention to detail, bringing the harsh realities of life in the North West vividly to life.
With interactive hands on displays of everyday life including making your daily bread and butter, net making, wood carving, Coin making and weaving and much more to the excitement of the warriors preparing with battle with arms and armour you can touch and hold, there is something for everyone all backed by the knowledgeable members of Wirhalh Skip Felagr

There will also be a Viking themed Make It session running from 11am- 3pm. You will have the chance to have a go at many of the activities to see what life was like for the Vikings.
