The Atkinson has collected contemporary art since the 1870s. This exhibition looks at recent acquisitions and a shift in direction addressing issues such as the gender imbalance of artists represented and a lack of racial diversity.
Visitors to the exhibition are invited to join the conversation on the future direction of The Atkinson’s permanent collections.
