Sefton Artists
7 December 2020 – 23 January 2021
Established in 2010, the Sefton Artists group meet in Lydiate to create, exchange ideas, arrange events, offer critique and to advise each other’s work. The group use a variety of media and you will notice an assortment of styles and subjects across this exhibition.
The group take inspiration from Sefton and the natural beauty and diversity of the landscape, including the coastline, the woods, as well as local parks and gardens. Further afield, the environment of the Lake District and North Wales also offer great inspiration. The animals that inhabit these landscapes also feature in many artworks.
The Sefton Artists love to share their passion and have exhibited their work locally for many years. In Southport they have exhibited at The Atkinson, Wayfarers Arcade and Arthouse. Across Sefton they have exhibited at venues including Cass Art (Liverpool), Martin Mere (Burscough) and Cafe d`Art (Formby). Some of their members also exhibit regularly in the Palette Club, Chet and the St. Helens Open.
The Sefton Artists are pleased to welcome Peter Owen as the guest artist for this exhibition.
