Updated ‘See it Safely’ Information

Please check our See it Safely page for up to date information. On this page you can find out more about the measures we have put in place ready for your visit, and what you need to know beforehand.

The Atkinson is not classed as a ‘large venue’ as our Theatre is under 500 seats. You currently do not need a ‘vaccine passport’ or negative test to attend performances at The Atkinson, however we are strongly suggesting you take a test in advance of attending in consideration of other visitors and our staff.

It is mandatory to wear a face covering when visiting The Atkinson, except when eating and drinking in the café or Theatre. If you require a face covering, please let our staff know, we will be happy to provide you with one. Some people, including children under 11, are exempt from having to wear face coverings in any setting. Furthermore, anyone with a health condition or disability, which means they cannot wear a face covering, has a reasonable excuse for not wearing a face covering.
