Refund Policy

The Atkinson has a no refund policy. Tickets can be exchanged (for an equal or higher value) for alternative shows within a 3 month period for a fee of 50p per ticket. Tickets must be returned to the Box Office 48 hours prior to the performance.

If you or someone in your household has a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loses/has changes to their sense of taste or smell, have had a positive COVID-19 test result, or have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace then you must not attend the theatre. Contact the Box Office during our normal opening hours and we will either exchange or refund your tickets once we have received your NHS confirmation of a positive PCR test within the last 10 days prior to the show, or an NHS PCR booking confirmation within the 24 hrs prior. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, customers are entitled to a ticket refund, exchange, credit note, or can donate the cost to The Atkinson Development Trust.

Line-ups are correct at time of purchase but may be subject to change. Customers will not be notified of any changes to the line-up. No refunds will be offered for changes to the line-up, customers are entitled to a ticket exchange, credit note, or can donate the cost to The Atkinson Development Trust. The Atkinson is not liable to cover travel and/or accommodation costs.

There are no exchanges for an event that has sold out or for any Festival tickets, including gig tickets within a festival. There are events which cannot be exchanged – please check details on the event page or at Box Office before booking.

A booking fee of £1 per ticket is applicable to purchases made online and over the phone. Booking fees are an administrative cost and are non-refundable.
