On the first Saturday of every month Evolution Comedy Club present a side-splitting night of laughter. Expect to see the finest comedians on the circuit and a different host at every show.

Pete McCole:
Peter McCole is emerging as one of the hidden talents of the UK comedy circuit. His reputation growing from regularly gigging around the UK to International Comedy Nights via The Edinburgh Fringe.
Peter is a natural stand up whose hugely popular anecdotal observational comedy and quick dry with delights comedy audiences plus the confidence to take risks on stage to keep each performance interchangeable and most importantly, keeping the audience laughing along or hanging off his every word.
In 2012, he was selected for The Big Value showcase in Edinburgh and within 2 years, took his debut one-hour solo show to sold out crowds at Liverpool, Leicester and Edinburgh Comedy Festival and headlining international comedy nights in Bahrain, Doha and Dubai.
Dave Twentyman:
Dave is upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feet…just some words that have been used to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit today.
He has performed at a number of music festivals such as Leeds, V Festival and Download. Its no wonder then that Dave is one of the few modern comedians who proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet – a relatively new tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic.
He’s an affable, quick-witted comedian who somehow survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow.
With jokes and tales that you can’t help but relate to, he endears himself to even the rowdiest of audiences with ease and quite rightly is in hot demand at the biggest comedy clubs in the UK and overseas.
Dave has appeared on Made In The Northwest (ITV) and his radio credits include XFM Manchester, BBC Manchester & Key 103.

Paul Imrie:
With a mixture of warm natural observational style and crafted sharp punch lines, Paul’s tales of every day frustrations and misfortunes leave the audience in hysterics.
Paul has been described as “one to watch” by Jason Manford.
Mike Wilkinson:
Mike started his career by reaching the finals of the So You Think You’re Funny new act competition in 2000 and being a finalist of the City Life Comedian of the Year for North West acts the following year.
Now he’s a regular on the circuit and has supported such comedy greats as Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas, Ross Noble, Dave Spikey and Jason Manford on their UK tours.
Overflowing with down to earth Northern charm, Mike has a wonderful laid-back style. The laughs come thick and fast with Wilkinson’s dry humour and razor sharp wit…but hecklers beware, that cheeky grin can lash out and crush a heckler at lightening speed.
As well as being very funny, Mike is also a talented musician and plays the piano and guitar.
Mike has performed on several TV and radio shows including Gagging For It (Granada), Live From the Albert Dock (Mersey TV) and Running Late (BBC).
When he’s not killing it on the comedy scene, he can be found working on his farm rearing his own hens, and often brings a gift of a few fresh eggs to the show.
Doors open at 7:30pm. Show starts at 8pm. Age 18+.

Clubstyle Seating
Evolution Comedy Club takes place in the studio with a clubstyle layout. If you purchase lower level seating, tables and chairs are available on a first come first serve basis. If you purchase balcony seating, you will be assigned a seat number for the show.
Bar
The bar opens at 7:30pm, half an hour before the show begins, and will remain open until the show finishes. A great selection of refreshments and pub snacks are on offer.
Photography/Filming
For this event, photography without flash is allowed. Recording is not allowed.
Line-up
Line-ups are correct at time of purchase but may be subject to change. No refunds will be offered for changes to the line-up. Customers will not be notified of any changes to the line-up.
