Headliner

Jeni Hankins & Friends

Old-timey Appalachian American Family-Band Vibes with Ballads, Country Blues, Bluegrass, and Banter, Eerie mountain modal harmonies and good-ole foot-stomping joy!

Jeni has been making music and composing with Alfred John Hickling and Tim Curtis, both of York’s “King Courgette”, since their bands shared a multi-band bill with Jeni & Billy in York back in 2010. Since then, they’ve played together throughout England. Altogether, the trio cover guitar, banjo, autoharp, mandolin, fiddle, steel guitar, ukulele, harmonica, feet, bass, accordion, and xylophone.

Get ready for songs about everything from Jeni’s childhood in the Appalachian Coalfields to her Astra-zeneca induced meditation on socks.
