A staple of the contemporary Americana scene, Annie Keating writes and sings like a woman who knows deep down that heartache is the price of hope, and she can make us believe—in that way that only the best artists can—that all of it is worth the cost.

Talent spotted by BBC Radio‘sBob Harris with the release of her breakthrough album, “Belmont” in 2008, Keating has been growing in stature and reputation ever since with each of the ten studio album and EP releases to date, drawing formidable comparisons to artists including Lucinda Williams and John Prine along the way.

In 2021, Keating released her eighth studio album ‘Bristol County Tides’, a record that told an evocative story of love, loss, and finding what matters most in uncertain times, on a pandemic journey from Brooklyn to the coast, through fifteen beautiful songs. Standing as her most accomplished and ambitious to date, the record was praised by Folk Radio UK as “personal and universal… unequivocally Keating’s finest hour yet “.

“Keating is the epitome of what it means to be a truly successful singer/songwriter” – American Songwriter

Katie Nicholas

Already established on the UK Americana scene as an award-winning songwriter, Katie Nicholas steps into a new era with her latest work, showcasing her as a distinctive folk artist, skilful guitarist and fearless in bending any genre to suit her message.

‘Sitting Ducks’ is the third single from the Feather EP – Katie’s most heart-felt work. With Isabella Baker on violin, Anna Corcoran on piano, and herself on acoustic guitar, this work is reminiscent of obscure but timeless artists including Norah Jones, Katie Melua, Eva Cassidy, Judee Sill and Joni Mitchell.

Frequently considered “prolific” in her writing, she harbours a discography of 80+ songs soon to be set free, revealing her never-ending evolution as an artist. Fans have waited eagerly for her return and they won’t be disappointed.

Showcased by Whispering Bob Harris on his “Under The Apple Tree Event in Nashville, recorded at Abbey Road Studio London and Blackbird Nashville, featured on the SSL advert along with 40+ BBC regional broadcasts, plus supporting Boo Hewerdine and Robert Vincent at the Liverpool Philharmonic – Katie is finally returning, and putting her best foot forward.
