What is Civilisations?
It is a major 9-part series on BBC Two, presented by Simon Schama, Mary Beard and David Olusoga.
We are part of a UK-wide festival running from 2nd – 11th March 2018 with events inspired by the subject matter of the BBC Two series.
Inspired by Victorian collector Mrs Goodison, Adventures in Egypt looks at how people travelled to Egypt, what they collected and what they did with these items when they came back. The tour will begin with a brief talk about Mrs Goodison followed by a look around the exhibition; Adventures in Egypt Mrs Goodison & Other Travellers
